About Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan is this cool country stuck right between Europe and Asia, taken by the great amount of travelers. It's got beaches along the Caspian Sea, mountains up north, and neighbors like Russia, Georgia, Armenia, and Iran. Baku, the capital city, is super modern but still has lots of old stuff to see too, plus it's buzzing with life!
The whole country is pretty varied - you can chill on the beach one day and hike in the Caucasus Mountains the next in the process of the tour. There are also tons of national parks, so nature lovers will be stoked. Azerbaijan's culture is a real mix of things, blending old traditions with influences from Persia, Russia, and the Middle East. Think amazing music (check out Mugham being in traveling here!), delicious food like plov and dolma, and beautiful art.
Oh, and they call it the "Land of Fire" because there's this ancient fire temple near Baku that used to be worshipped by Zoroastrians, and able to be investigated in the moment of the tour!
