Day 1: Almaty - Shymkent
Welcome to Kazakhstan. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Shymkent. It will take about 4 hours. This city is located at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road. Here you will see the most ancient cities of the Middle Ages as Otar, Turkestan, Syganak, Sauran and others. The tour will be continued visiting the modern Shymkent where you can have a city tour and visit the Memory Alley in Park named after Sh. Kaldayakov, Monument "Jer An", Ordabasy Square, Park "20th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan", Museum of political repression victims, Obelisk of Glory, Walk of Fame, Eternal Fire to the fallen in the Second World War, Arboretum and historical museum of local lore. Transfer to a hotel for rest.

Day 2: Shymkent - Turkestan - Shymkent
Today we will travel to Turkestan and have a city tour. It was originated around 500 AD at the crossroads of caravan routes from Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva to northern Kazakhstan. The city is spiritual and political center of the Turkic-speaking people in the XVI-XVIII centuries as well as was the capital of the Kazakh Khanate. Turkestan got the global reputation due to proselytization activity of the famous Sufi sheikh and philosopher Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. He was repressed in a small mausoleum here in 1166. The mausoleum was founded after 233 years after his death by the order of a great military leader Emir Tamerlane. Today it became a masterwork of medieval architecture as well as the main place of devotion for Muslims. According to legend, efforts to construct a wall of the mausoleum botched saying that it was demolished by the big storm, another notes say that it was a green bull who came and tumble-down everything. Tamerlan saw had a dream where a saint said that at first you must to construct a mausoleum over the grave of Arystan Bab who was an educator and spiritual mentor of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. He placed over the tomb of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. There are a lot of wayfarers visit the mausoleum of Arystan Bab, and then Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. It is like a small Hajj to Mecca. In Turkestan you will visit "Azret Sultan" historical and architectural complex, Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, Turkestan ancient settlement, Necropolis, a fragment of the fortress wall, Citadel with gates, Hammam, Hilvet concealed mosque and others. Afterwards is transfer to a hotel.

Day 3: Shymkent - Almaty
In the morning we will transfer in Almaty by flight. Traverses will have a city tour for 5 - 6 hours. It is a great chance to learn more about its history as well as development of the country. We will visit the famous Green Bazaar and find many oriental goods. Then we will visit Almaty parks as Panfilov Park as well as Zenkov Cathedral and walk to the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flames. It is built for heroes who died for freedom and independence of Kazakhstan. In the second part of day we will travel to the Medeo Gorge. This area is famous for its highest mountain skating rink in the world. The next destination of our tour is Kok Tobe hill. Being there you will find the biggest TV tower in the world. In addition, you will have a chance to walk to see panorama views and enjoy the tour. In the end of day, you will see a center of the city by Almaty cableway. Night is in a hotel.
