Day 1: Bishkek - Belogorka gorge - Bishkek
We are glad to see you in Kyrgyzstan. Meet the driver at Manas International Airport and travel to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan. You will have a guided tour of Bishkek and visit Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic, and so on. Afterwards we will travel to Belogorka gorge and enjoy a short hiking tour there. Here you will see a waterfall and take photos. Afterwards we will come back to Bishkek. Transfer to a hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana - Kochkor
In the morning you will explore Asian Bazaar and then transfer to Kochkor village. On route to the gorge you will visit Burana Tower of the 11th century. In addition, you will see an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors) made in honor of brave soldiers who died for their Motherland. Afterwards is transfer to Kochkor. Night is in a homestay.
Day 3: Kochkor - Son Kul Lake
Today we will travel to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan - Son Kul Lake. This lake is enclosed by mountains and it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, lies at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. This place is best for rest and relaxation. Herders of the Naryn region use it as pastureland. Overnight is in nomadic collapsible dwellings - yurts. They are made of a wooden skeleton, covered with felt coverings.
Day 4: Son Kul - Tash Rabat
We will drive to the Tash Rabat Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road (Stone Castle from the 14th century) placed at the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains. It has stone blocks inside a mountain at an elevation of 3200 m above sea level. You will find there 31 rooms in the mountain. Its walls are 1 m thick. Before this place was a prison. Night is in a yurt.
Day 5: Tash Rabat - Kochkor
In the morning you will be transferred to Kochkor village. In Kochkor village you will get acquainted with family and see how our national felt carpets are produced. Then create your own carpet. Here you will visit a small handicraft museum and find silver decorations, coats made of wolfs, horse saddle decorations, carpets and many other things. Night is in a homestay.
Day 6: Kochkor - Issyk Kul southern shore - Karakol
In the morning we will drive to the celestial Issyk Kul Lake. It is the second largest alpine lake in the world and called "the pearl of Central Asia". This lake is considered the lake to be a sacred one. We will have a break in Bokonbaeva village, where we will visit a local eagle-hunter. He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles. Afterwards is transfer to famous gorge of Jeti Oguz, Red Rocks where you can see the Broken Heart Mountain. We will continue our way to Karakol town. Night is in a hotel.
Day 7: Karakol - Issyk Kul northern shore - Bishkek
We will travel to Bishkek city and drive along the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. You will see the whole lake from all sights as well as ancient stone inscriptions (800 B.C.) made more than 2 000 years ago by shamans. You will admire panorama view of the Issyk Kul Lake from this place. Night is in a hotel.
Day 8: Airport
In the morning is transfer to airport.
