Day 1: Tashkent
Welcome to Tour 5. Driver will met and accompany you to the capital of Uzbekistan for guided city tour. In course of the tour you will explore the main square off the country that is known as a symbol of victory over fascism in World War II. After it you will stroll along the local Broadway that divides the Independence square and Amir Timur square. After it you will have a ride in famous Tashkent metro, among the most beautiful subways in the world and the first line of this sight was opened in 1977. You will be able to visit the old part of the city where you will enjoy the Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex that consists of several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. Day 2: Tashkent - Termez (morning flight)
In course of the Travel in Uzbekistan: Tour 6 you will flight to Termez. This city is known as the one of the ancient cities of Central Asia. Here you will be able to explore the history of sight in the modern city. The cultural heritage that was developed from the inception of the city was completely destroyed by Genghis-Khan in 1220. A new city was erected to the east of the old town. In course of the tour you will be able to visit the Archeological museum, Fayaztepa, Mausoleum of Hakim at Termezi, Buddhist Stupa Zurmala, Mausoleum Sultan Saodat, Honako Kokaldor Ota, Nunnery Kirk Kiz, Jarkurgan's Minaret, Dalverzintepa archeological dig (some sights might be closed due to military trainings). Day 3: Termez - Shahrisabs - Samarkand (390 km, 7 hours)
Today you will have a tour to the birthplace of Amir Timur, the town of Shahrisabs. Here you will have a sightseeing tour to see the famous Ak Saray Palace. This grandeur building was made by order of Amir Timur. On the main portal of the Palace was written: "If you want to know about our power, look at our buildings". After it you will explore Jahongir mausoleum that was erected in to the eldest son of Amir Timur, who died in battle ground at the age of twenty years old. The ruler has mourned for a long time as the legends says that it lasted for 30 years. At the end of the tour you will see the Dorus Siadat and Dorus Tillavat memorial complexes which were made for relatives of Amir Timur were buried. Return to Samarkand. Night is in a hotel.
Day 4: Samarkand
In course of the tour you will travel to Samarkand. You will find it in the valley of the river Zerafshan. During tours you will know that it is the second largest city of Uzbekistan and you will be impressed to know that age of which is same of the city of Babylon or Rome. During the tour you will visit its most outstanding sights such as Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Day 5: Samarkand - Tashkent (train)
You will continue to explore Samarkand city that has a long history. Today you will see prominent sight the Ulughbek observatory that was made in 15th century by Ulughbek. He is famed as the one of the most famous Samarkand rulers and scientists. With the help of this observatory he created "Zidji Guragoni" catalog in 1437 where you can find information about 1018 celestial bodies. He was killed by his son. After it you will have time to stroll along the local Broadway to enjoy souvenir shops, teahouses, sweets and workshops. After it you will explore the real atmosphere of national bazaar Siab where you can find Uzbek traditional handmade products and local sweets. Afternoon transfer to Tashkent is by train. Night is in a hotel.
